Solstice Town of Gallatin Partnership

Solstice Partners with the Town of Gallatin, New York

Solstice formed its first town partnership with the Town of Gallatin, New York. The Gallatin Town Board was searching for ways to connect its own buildings and residents to renewable energy. By partnering with Gallatin, Solstice has helped enroll 60 properties in community solar, including the Town Hall and Town Court.

Solstice helps the town earn referral donations by inviting residents and small businesses of Gallatin to join the program. For every Gallatin property that enrolls in community solar, Solstice donates $50 toward the town’s efforts to purchase solar-powered motion lights for the Gallatin Town Hall parking lot.

“We’re proud of our partnership with Solstice because it shows Gallatin’s commitment to supporting our residents and helping them save with renewable energy,” said Town Supervisor John Reilly. “The impact of the partnership is twofold, because not only do our residents get to save on their own electricity bills, but we will be able to use the funds raised to install solar-powered lights at the town hall parking lot.”
