Solstice Partners with Kingston Food Co-op

Solstice partners with Kingston Food Co-op, a member-owned grocery store in Kingston, New York, to help expand food and solar access. Kingston Food Co-op offers free lifetime memberships to those who sign up for community solar through its network. When existing members enroll in their local solar farm, Solstice donates $200 to Kingston Food Co-op’s Solidarity Share Fund, which enables low-income and BIPOC members to join the co-op for little or no cost.

Kingston Food Co-op is currently accepting memberships (almost at 1,000!) and will be a member-and-worker-owned cooperative market committed to providing fresh, local, nutritious, and affordable food to the Kingston community. Kingston Food Co-op works to support the changing needs of its members and to promote the well-being of the city and the planet.
