US Department of Energy – Solar Energy Technology Office  •   March 22th, 2019 

The US Department of Energy Solar Energy Technologies Office’s Fiscal Year 2018 Funding Program provided 78 solar projects with a total of $81 million. The program promotes research and development of new solar technologies that will lower the cost of solar and the reduce technology transfer challenges. Solstice was awarded $1.5 million to expand access to solar power to low-income communities by implementing the EnergyScore, a more accurate credit score alternative for community solar developed by Solstice.
